McKinney

If you’re considering buying a home in Collin County, look no further than McKinney. Money Magazine named McKinney #1 Best Place to Live in America in 2014 and since the city has earned the title, they have been working hard to retain that status and remain in the Top 10.  McKinney has a homey southern charm in a thoroughly modern city.  The area is a hotbed for growth in industry, real estate and tourism.

McKinney’s brand, Unique by Nature, defines the city’s image for residents, businesses and visitors alike.  It sets the city apart from the other nearby DFW metro areas while building community spirit and pride.  Unique by Nature speaks to McKinney’s inherent uniqueness and embodies the spirit of the community: the historic downtown culture, cultural diversity, charming neighborhoods, and the cities business-friendly environment all weave together to create the unique community.

The city continues to change and grow but McKinney will remain true to its brand of being Unique by Nature which communicates exactly who they are, where they came from and where they are headed.  It is a decision to protect McKinney’s essence, the personality of the community, in the present and the future.

Arts peak your interests? Visual art can be found in art galleries, working studios and even various businesses throughout the city.  Want to create your own art?  How about a visit to Painting With a Twist, Walls of Clay or Wild Brush Studio.  Performing arts?  McKinney has you covered there as well.  The McKinney Repertory Theatre & Young Actors Guild has a season full of plays.  The McKinney Community Band and Odysseus Chamber Orchestra offer unbelievable music by talented artists.
